I got my start as a data analyst the summer before my freshman year of college doing curve fitting and data visualization
in MATLAB on large experimental data sets at the Air Force Research Laboratory. In the nine years since I have worked
on teams associated with the AFRL, The Ohio State University, Honda R&D Americas, Booz Allen Hamilton, and the University
of Texas at Austin on projects that utilized various skill sets including data storage and retrieval, data cleaning,
data analysis and curve fitting, model and simulation development, data visualization, dashboarding, and reporting
using MATLAB, C, C++, and Fortran. I graduated with honors from The Ohio State University in engineering physics and
have a broad exposure to math, science and various problem solving stategies. I am currently attending The Data Analytics
and Visualization Bootcamp at the University of Texas at Austin where I have been expanding my knowledge of technologies
used widely in business intelligence today. I now have experience using Python, Pandas, SQL, MongoDB, Javascript,
HTML/CSS, and D3. I believe that I would be a tremendous resource to any company looking for a candidate to extract
new features and trends in their data and to use meaningful data visualizations to communicate these features to clients
and stakeholders.
While not doing data analysis you can usually find me catching and indie movie at Alamo Drafthouse, at a concert
on Red River, or out on my bike.
